On Thursday 5/11/2020 corresponding to 19 Rabiuil Awwal 1442, His Highness the Sarkin Ayagi Alhaji Abdulkadir Salihu Inuwa Ayagi led the Turbaning ceremony of Comrade Auwal Zakari Ayagi as Barden Ayagi and four others.
The event was attended by prominent figures including the Deputy National President of Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria MHWUN, and also State Chairman Nigerian Labour Congress Kano State Branch Comrade (Dr.) Kabiru Ado Minjibir, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Umar, the Waziri of Ayagi Alhaji Abdallah Ayagi, the Wambai of Ayagi and Senior Member of the Emirate Council, Alh. Abdurashid Baba Ayagi, the Sarkin Sharifan Ayagi and all other Emirate Heads, Senior Government Officials and Senior Businessmen from Ayagi and other parts of Kano State.
The Chairman of the Kano State Labour Union and ABM Ibrahim Umar presented the certificates of appointment to the new titles.
In his speech, the Sarkin Ayagi urged the appointees to be committed to bringing development to the Emirate, while urging them to bring peace to the Ayagi Emirate and Dala Local Government Area and the country as a whole.
Comrade Auwal Zakari Ayagi (Barden Ayagi) also National President of Al'azmiyyah Islamic Foundation Kano State, thanked the Sarkin Ayagi for the Turbanning and promised to be committed to protecting the Emirate and taking it forward.
